Traditional manufacturing methods were time-consuming and costly, involving multiple stages and frequent updates due to design changes. The need for a more flexible, efficient, and cost-effective solution was critical to reduce production lead times, improve design capabilities, and lower overall manufacturing costs.

Solution:
Namthaja proposed the use of 3D printed PETG, PA12, and TPU accessories. The solution involved:
- Design Preparation and Optimization: The original designs were optimized for SLS 3D printing, consolidating multiple parts into single, integrated components to reduce weight and increase strength.
- Generative Design: Applied to create optimized designs that meet load requirements while reducing material waste and improving durability.
- 3D Printing Technology: Used SLS (Selective Laser Sintering) technology to produce complex geometries that are challenging for traditional methods.
- Increased Efficiency & Flexibility: The new process significantly reduced time to market to less than one month and eliminated the need for costly tooling.
- Cost Efficiency: Overall costs were reduced by leveraging the flexibility of 3D printing, which is more cost-efficient compared to injection molding.
