The need in this project was to produce a case for assembling and distributing product components, based on the electrical and mechanical design of the internal devices, such as electrical circuits, batteries, circuit breakers…etc.
The original case was made of steel plates, and needed a special heavy-manufacturing setup, in which it goes through more than 10 manufacturing stages, and this is further complicated manufacturing in different locations.
Which forces our client to produce in large batches, which makes some inventory subjected to loss in the event of altering the original product.
Initially, Namthaja chose an alternative to the metal used previously for manufacturing, and the design was created, developed, and all its parts customized, which added some advantages to the container and allowed it to be produced in several simpler, more efficient steps and with a shorter manufacturing & lead time.
